Jana is a professional singer from Texas that sings Broadway, jazz, opera, theater, Christmas, gospel, country and blues. She grew up in Lubbock, TX and practiced under Dr. Bill Gillas at Texas Tech University. She has been part of the San Diego Opera and performed in many onstage and community venues.

 

Her career began early in church while in elementary school. She built up an audience and a name and started to sing solos at community events like the Stars Spangled Banner. In middle school and high school, she won many honors as well as performed many solos in chorale and show choir. At Texas Tech University, she performed in both theater and choir.

Her work in Houston, Texas includes Houston Grand Opera, Stageworks Theater,Lone Star Theater Festival, plus many choral functions, duets and solos at various churches. She teaches private lessons in Katy, Texas and continues to perform in productions across the world.
